Thomas Paul Niebes, age 85 of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Cox South Medical Center. Tom was born April 11, 1935 in Belle Plaine, Iowa to Paul and Bernetta Niebes. He was of the Lutheran faith, and served his country in the United States Army during his youth. He was married for almost 50 years to his wife, Joyce. Tom was the owner of Niebes Marketing, a food brokerage company in Springfield. He was proud to have started the Corvette Unit in the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine in 1993, and loved doing parades with the Corvette Unit. He loved being at Rice Camp on Table Rock Lake with Masonic brothers, family and friends for the last 25 years.

Thomas Paul Niebes is survived by his wife Joyce of the home, a son David and his wife Pam of Battlefield, a daughter Brenda Sue Coday of Republic, a daughter Carolyn and her husband Jay Burnett of Springfield, a daughter Jaylyn and her husband Dave O'Connor of Springfield, and a cousin Jan Pulkrabek (who was like a son to Tom) and his wife Tami of Overland Park, Kansas, his grandchildren Suzanne, Samantha and husband Cole, Whitney, Hailey, Emily, Conner, and Carsen, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother John Niebes, and a grandson Ryan Niebes.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday November 6, 2020 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Friday November 6, 2020 at Klingner Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Childrens Hospital.  Arrangements are under the direction of Klingner Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel.
