Rex June McCurdy was born June 5, 1926 and left his earthly home June 10, 2015. Rex was born to Oles Rex and Alta Linn McCurdy.

Rex was a graduate of Springfield High School, then attended college before entering the Navy and serving in WWII. He married Marie Kathryn Francka September 12, 1951. One son was born of this union, Zachary A. McCurdy.

Rex was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn, his parents, his only brother and only nephew.

He leaves behind his son Zack, granddaughter, Shelby McCurdy and Shelby''s mother, Shella McCurdy.

Informal viewing will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 from 10-11 AM with services immediately following at Eastlawn Chapel. Committal services to follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
