Jerry Battiest, 66, was born on August 25, 1945, and died at home with her loving dog A.J. in Springfield, on her birthday, August 25, 2011.

Jerry was on a bowling league for many years. She also enjoyed spending time with her husband Charles who was her world. Jerry also loved playing cards with family and friends, but mostly she was a loving mother and grandmother who could be a firecracker when needed. She was employed by American Laundry before going to work at St. John''s Laundry where she retired after 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, sons Timmie and Matthew Lansdown, and sister Edna Mae Stennett.
She is survived by children Donnie, Dale, and Trina, step-children, Dane Battiest and Ginny Irminger, sisters Linda, Marie, Hazel, and Flo, brothers, Charles and Bobbie Riley, nephew John, niece Angie, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Sunday, August 28th from 6-8:00 P.M. at Eastlawn Funeral Home, 2244 E. Pythian, Springfield, Mo. Funeral services will be on Monday, August 29th at 10:00 A.M. also at Eastlawn Funeral Home.
