Another Angel went to Heaven this past Tuesday .

Helen Louise Wicka passed away peacefully on June 19, 2018 at Cox South Medical Center, Springfield, Mo.   She was 74 years old.

Helen was born in 1943 in Butler, Pennsylvania.  She completed her education in Pennsylvania and Graduated as a Registered Nurse.

Helen was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.  While in the Air Force, she married her Husband and Best Friend for their next 51 years, David Wicka.

Helen and David successfully and proudly raised three great children:   Jennifer Wicka Barton,  Tanya Wicka Spillane,  Melissia Wicka Goff.   Helen Wicka was also a grandmother to Sydney Spillane, Cody Barton and Kasey Barton.   Helen worked at Cox South Medical Center for over 20 years in a Surgical R.N. capacity.  She was retired from Cox South at the time of her death.  Helen will be remembered by her family and friends as a caring, skilled and likeable person who had great people skills.  Helen shone a bright light on the world of all who knew her.  Helen Wicka will be interred at the Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Springfield, Mo. at a private ceremony.
