Obituary
Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Dale Oria Adkins, Sr. passed away July 17, 2012 in Springfield, MO. He was born January 25, 1940 in Blanchard, ID to Oria and Lorene May (Meyers) Adkins. He married Diane C. Horton. He was preceded in death by Diane and his parents.
He attended Community College in Spokane, WA were he became a master carpenter. Dale is survived by Warren and Barbara Meyers of Colville, WA; Pat Meyers of Kettle Falls, WA; 3 brothers, Norman and Barb Meyers of Priest River, ID, James and Robert Adkins of Spirit Lake, ID; sister, Darlene Adkins of Salt Lake City, UT; children, Dale Oria Adkins, Jr., Darryl and John Adkins, all of Springfield, MO and Michael and Karen Adkins of Buffalo, MO; 6 grandchildren, numerous cousins and 2 nieces.
Visitation will be Friday, July 20, 2012 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at Eastlawn Funeral Home Chapel at 2244 E. Pythian, Springfield, MO. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home with burial in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Thou are gone but not forgotten precious in the sight of the Lord.
