Bill L. Stokes, Sr, 62 of Nixa, MO passed away on May 23, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 3, 1951 in Springfield, MO to Orville T. and Fern E. Stokes.

He graduated from Glendale High School in 1969 and was the owner of Bill Stokes Installation from 1969 until he retired in 2012. He married Jaclynne Wells on January 12, 2012 in Eureka Springs, AR and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Jaclynne Stokes; son, Bill L. Stokes Jr. and wife Jessica; step children, Noah Gates and wife Laura, Kim Roberts and husband Scott, Kama Posten and husband Nathan; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Gary Stokes and wife Karen, Orville Stokes Jr. and wife Theresa; nieces and nephews and close friend, Debra Garcia.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 6 till 8 pm in the Eastlawn funeral home, 2244 E Pythian, Springfield, MO 65802. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 2 pm in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
